Born in Cairo, Sara moved to Germany in 2012 to pursue her PhD. She stepped into a culture that tested every belief she held about herself — her language, her identity, her place at the table. She did not shrink. She published first-author in Nature, won the Richtzenhain Prize, and led research that secured $2.7 million from the NIH.

During her PhD, she was coached. That changed everything. She recognised that the same neuroscience principles governing high-performance biology could be applied to business leadership. In 2021, at the height of the pandemic, she founded GenX Leadership Academy in Berlin. No investors. No prior business experience. Just the frameworks she now teaches.

She is the only leadership trainer in either the German or MENA market who holds PhD-level scientific credibility, lived cultural fluency in both markets, an award-winning coaching track record, and a personal story that makes the methodology impossible to separate from the person.
